LANE COUNTY, Ore. — A 49-year-old Creswell man died following a single-vehicle crash late Wednesday night in rural Lane County, according to the Lane County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded at about 10 p.m. on May 21 to the 32000 block of Dillard Loop after a caller reported finding a vehicle that had crashed into a tree with the driver unresponsive inside.
Emergency crews from Pleasant Hill Fire, Goshen Fire, and South Lane Fire also responded to the scene.
The driver, identified as Isaac Richard Aanrud, 49, of Creswell, was extricated from the vehicle and transported by ambulance to a local hospital. Authorities said Aanrud did not survive his injuries.
Lane County Sheriff’s deputies investigated the crash scene. No additional information has been released at this time.
