CORVALLIS, Ore. — A 40-year-old Corvallis woman was arrested Thursday morning after allegedly brandishing a kitchen knife and injuring a police officer while officers attempted to take her into custody following reports of a disturbance.
According to the Corvallis Police Department, officers responded at approximately 9:29 a.m. on June 25 to the 600 block of Northwest Monroe Avenue after receiving multiple reports of a woman damaging property and causing a disturbance.
When officers contacted Tiffany Wolf, 40, who police said is a Corvallis resident with no fixed address, she allegedly refused repeated lawful commands and would not leave the roadway.
Police said officers attempted to take Wolf into custody when she resisted arrest and produced a concealed kitchen knife. During the struggle, one officer suffered a laceration that was treated at the scene.
Officers were able to disarm Wolf and take her into custody without any additional injuries to officers, the suspect, or members of the public.
Wolf was transported to the Benton County Jail, where she was lodged on the following charges:
- Attempted Assault in the First Degree
- Assault in the Second Degree
- Assaulting a Public Safety Officer
- Unlawful Use of a Weapon
- Resisting Arrest
- Menacing
- Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree
The injured officer was treated at the scene, and the incident remains under investigation.
