VANCOUVER, Wash. — The ongoing child molestation investigation involving former pediatrician Michael Wilmington and Chad Hartley continues as detectives with the Vancouver Police Department’s Digital Evidence Cybercrime Unit work through digital evidence connected to the case.
Wilmington was found deceased last Saturday, while Hartley remains incarcerated in the Clark County Jail.
According to investigators, detectives have been conducting extensive forensic examinations of digital evidence as part of the continuing investigation.
On May 7, detectives served a search warrant at a residence in Vancouver and arrested William J. Sneiderwine, 61. He was booked into the Clark County Jail on charges of Conspiracy to Commit Child Molestation in the First Degree and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
Police said the investigation remains active and no additional information is being released at this time.
