GRESHAM, Ore. (May 3, 2026) — The Gresham Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 12-year-old girl who was last seen leaving her home two days ago.
Armoni Crittendon was last seen at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Friday, May 1, walking away from her residence in the 3000 block of Southeast Laura Avenue. Surveillance footage later captured her heading northbound in the area while carrying a black backpack.
Armoni is described as a Black female with black hair styled in braids. She stands about 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighs approximately 105 pounds. At the time she was last seen, she was wearing a green long-sleeved shirt, red and black pajama pants, and light-colored shoes.
Authorities urge anyone with information about Armoni’s whereabouts to call 911 immediately.
Police also noted that keeping a child away from their lawful custodian may constitute custodial interference, a felony under Oregon law (ORS 163.245).
Officials remind the public that concerns about child abuse or neglect can be reported directly to law enforcement or through the Oregon Department of Human Services Child Abuse Hotline at 855-503-SAFE (7233). Trained screeners evaluate reports and determine appropriate follow-up actions.
In addition to state services, Gresham Police partners with community organizations including New Avenues for Youth and the Alba Collaborative, which provide 24/7 crisis support and safe shelter options for youth ages 9 to 17. These services are based at the New Avenues Youth Opportunity Center in Southeast Portland.
The search for Armoni remains ongoing.
