BEND, Ore. — A 25-year-old Bend man was arrested Thursday morning in connection with a March altercation in which he allegedly pulled a handgun on another person during a fight outside a local bar.
According to Bend Police, officers arrested Kenneth Noe Gonzalez, 25, at approximately 8:54 a.m. on April 16, 2026, near the intersection of Northeast Butler Market Road and Florence Drive. The arrest followed an investigation into a March 7 incident at Cassity’s Bar in southwest Bend.
Police said they initially responded around 2 a.m. on March 7 to reports of a physical fight involving multiple people in the parking lot of the bar, located at 25 SW Century Drive. During the altercation, investigators allege one participant produced a handgun and pressed it against the victim’s chest for several seconds before leaving the scene.
Following an investigation, officers identified Gonzalez as the suspect.
On Thursday morning, Bend Police, along with members of the Central Oregon Emergency Response Team, conducted a traffic stop on a silver Subaru Legacy driven by Gonzalez. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Deschutes County Jail.
Gonzalez is facing charges of menacing and third-degree assault.
Authorities also executed three search warrants related to the case, including one at Gonzalez’s residence in the 63100 block of Deschutes Market Road and two involving his vehicles. The investigation remains ongoing.
