PROSPECT, Ore. — Detectives with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit arrested a 35-year-old Prospect man Wednesday morning on multiple charges related to child sex crimes.
Mickey Lee Ryan Jr. was taken into custody without incident just before 10 a.m. on April 15 at a trailer park in the 400 block of Mill Creek Drive, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. He faces five felony charges, including first-degree rape, two counts of first-degree sodomy, and two counts of first-degree sexual abuse.
Ryan was lodged in the Jackson County Jail following his arrest.
Officials said caseworkers with the Oregon Department of Human Services Child Welfare division from Jackson and Josephine counties assisted in the investigation and arrest.
The case remains open and ongoing, and no additional information was immediately available.
