Gresham, OR. — Gresham Police Department arrested 56-year-old Eric Stinson on Sunday afternoon on a warrant charging him with sexual abuse, sodomy, and attempted sodomy, according to authorities.
Stinson is the director of the Northwest Gymnastics Training Center in Gresham. Police said the arrest follows reports from multiple former athletes who alleged they experienced inappropriate sexual behavior by Stinson during their time at the facility.
Following his arrest, Stinson was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center. The investigation remains active.

Law enforcement officials emphasized that athletes who have experienced abuse or misconduct by a coach, trainer, or other athletic official are encouraged to report their concerns.
