The City of Sweet Home drinking water is testing safe for use and consumption. It does have a tint caused by plant tannins we believe is a result of the drawdown at Green Peter Reservoir. Our staff is working around the clock to ensure that our water continues to be safe. We are in communication with the US Army Corps of Engineers. We are also working with other government officials and agencies to find out what can be done. Please be assured that our water is testing as safe. We will update if anything changes. Please contact us with any questions. If you do have tinted water at your property, please contact us so we track it and look into it further.
