WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ore. — An officer-involved shooting early Wednesday morning is under investigation after Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a man vandalizing a business in the Aloha area.
According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched at approximately 12:48 a.m. on June 24, 2026, to a business located at 19525 SW Tualatin Valley Highway after receiving reports that a man was damaging the building’s windows.
During the response, an officer-involved shooting occurred. Authorities said no injuries were reported as a result of the incident, and the suspect was taken into custody.
In accordance with established protocols for officer-involved shootings, the Washington County District Attorney’s Office Major Crimes Team (MCT) has been activated. The District Attorney’s Office assigns the lead investigating agency in such cases, and the Beaverton Police Department has been designated to conduct the investigation.
Officials have not yet released additional details regarding the circumstances leading up to the shooting or the identity of the suspect.
