BEND, Ore. — Bend Police detectives are asking the public for help identifying any additional victims following the arrest of a 19-year-old Bend man accused of multiple sex crimes involving a juvenile.
On Wednesday, June 17, detectives arrested Alex Roger Stanley, 19, on charges including two counts of third-degree rape, two counts of second-degree sexual abuse, three counts of using a child in a sexual display, and distribution of methamphetamine to a minor. Authorities said all of the charges stem from allegations involving a single victim.
According to Bend Police, the investigation began in February 2026 after a 15-year-old girl underwent a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) examination at St. Charles Health System. Detectives launched an investigation and later developed probable cause to arrest Stanley.
Investigators described Stanley as a transient who has spent several years in the Bend area and who has had periodic access to children during that time. Based on information gathered during the investigation, detectives believe additional minors may have been victimized.
Bend Police are urging anyone with information related to Stanley or potential victims to contact non-emergency dispatch at 541-693-6911.
The investigation remains ongoing.
