U.S. Attorney Scott E. Bradford Appointed to Attorney General’s Advisory Committee

PORTLAND, Ore. — Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche has appointed Scott E. Bradford to serve on the Trump administration’s inaugural Attorney General’s Advisory Committee (AGAC), the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Oregon announced.

Established in 1973, the AGAC is made up of 18 U.S. Attorneys from across the country and advises the Attorney General and senior Department of Justice officials on national priorities, policy matters and other key issues facing federal prosecutors nationwide.

“I am deeply honored to serve on the Attorney General’s Advisory Committee and advance the Department of Justice’s priorities,” Bradford said in a statement. “I look forward to working alongside my distinguished colleagues on the AGAC’s important mission and making a meaningful impact in the communities we serve.”

Bradford joined the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Oregon in 2009 as an Assistant U.S. Attorney. During his tenure, he held several leadership roles, including chief of the White Collar Unit, chief of the Economic, National Security, and Cyber Crimes Unit, and deputy chief of the Criminal Division.

In 2022, Bradford served as the Department of Justice’s Regional Cybercrime Attaché in Southeast Asia, where he trained justice sector partners in efforts to combat cybercrime throughout the region.

Before returning to Oregon as U.S. Attorney, Bradford also served in Washington, D.C., as acting chief of the Counterintelligence and Export Control Section within the Justice Department’s National Security Division.
