BEAVERTON, Ore. — Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue crews responded to a second residential fire Tuesday in the Seminole Estates neighborhood on SW 195th Avenue, arriving roughly 10 minutes after an earlier nearby incident.
When crews arrived, they found a manufactured home with active fire already extending through the roof. Firefighters initially launched an aggressive interior attack in an effort to suppress the blaze and search the structure.
However, conditions inside the home rapidly deteriorated, and signs of potential roof collapse forced crews to evacuate the structure and shift to a defensive strategy. Firefighters then battled the flames from the exterior, working to prevent further spread and bring the fire under control.
No injuries were reported among firefighters or civilians.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Mutual aid was provided on scene by Hillsboro Fire & Rescue and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, which assisted with scene coordination and safety operations.
Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue officials have not yet released additional details regarding potential damage estimates or whether the two nearby fires are connected.
