MULTNOMAH COUNTY, Ore. — Deputies with the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office seized multiple firearms and suspected drugs early Thursday morning during a proactive patrol in Gresham.
According to officials, the investigation began around 1 a.m. on April 23, 2026, when a deputy noticed a parked vehicle in a fire lane near the entrance to Davis Park, located at 322 N.E. 194th Avenue. The park sits just north of Davis Elementary School.
During the contact, deputies identified four individuals inside the vehicle, all under the age of 21. Investigators reported observing open containers of alcohol along with signs of drug use and paraphernalia.
As a result of the investigation, deputies seized three firearms, ammunition, and suspected fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, and marijuana. Authorities also recovered items commonly associated with drug distribution, including packaging materials.
Officials say the seizure is part of the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office’s ongoing efforts to proactively address illegal firearms possession and drug activity in the community.
“This type of enforcement action helps disrupt local drug distribution networks and enhances community safety,” the agency said in a statement.
The case remains under investigation, and potential charges will be reviewed by the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office.
