DALLAS, Ore. — A 60-year-old woman from Salem has been found guilty on all counts following a jury trial in Dallas, Oregon, according to court officials.
Maria Michelle Miller was convicted by a 12-person jury after a two-day trial in Polk County Circuit Court on charges stemming from a June 2025 incident in which she forced her way into her ex-husband’s home in West Salem and assaulted a woman inside the residence.
Jurors found Miller guilty of Burglary in the First Degree, Assault in the Fourth Degree, Harassment, and Trespassing.
Following the verdict, Circuit Judge pro tem Timothy R. Park sentenced Miller to 120 days in jail, five years of probation, and ordered her to participate in mental health treatment.
During sentencing, the Polk County District Attorney’s Office argued for a longer custodial sentence, citing Miller’s prior felony convictions.
The case was heard in Polk County Circuit Court.
