EAGLE POINT, Ore. (April 14, 2026) — A multi-agency law enforcement team served a search warrant Tuesday morning at a residence in Eagle Point as part of an ongoing child exploitation investigation, authorities said.
The Southern Oregon Child Exploitation Team (SOCET), working alongside the Eagle Point Police Department and the Oregon Department of Justice Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, executed the warrant at a home on Chantrell Court.
Investigators initiated the case after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children indicating that child sexual abuse material (CSAM) images had been uploaded from the address. The tip led to the issuance of subpoenas and ultimately the search warrant, officials said.
During the operation, investigators interviewed witnesses and individuals connected to the case. Multiple digital devices were seized and will undergo forensic examination by the Southern Oregon High Tech Crimes Task Force to determine whether additional evidence of child exploitation exists.
SOCET was assisted in the investigation by several partner agencies, including the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Medford Police Department, along with the ICAC Task Force and the Southern Oregon High Tech Crimes Task Force.
Officials said SOCET, established in June 2020, is a collaborative effort involving local, state, and federal investigators and prosecutors working to combat child exploitation in Jackson County.
No arrests have been announced, and authorities emphasized that the investigation remains active. Additional details are not being released at this time.
