BEAVERTON, Ore. — April 2, 2026 — A burglary suspect was arrested Thursday evening following a brief pursuit, a multi-vehicle crash, and a coordinated search involving deputies, local police, and a drone team in Washington County.
At approximately 5:00 p.m., a Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputy located a 1994 Toyota Camry connected to a recent burglary traveling through Aloha with two occupants inside. When the deputy attempted a traffic stop, the driver fled, prompting a pursuit.
The deputy discontinued the chase within minutes due to heavy traffic ahead, citing safety concerns. The suspect vehicle, however, continued at a high rate of speed. Additional deputies and officers from the Beaverton Police Department responded to assist, along with a Drone as First Responder (DFR) unit.
While monitoring from above, the drone operator observed the Camry’s passenger exit the vehicle near the intersection of Southwest Farmington Road and Southwest Kinnaman Road, as the driver sped away. Deputies were directed to the passenger and took her into custody.
Shortly afterward, dispatchers began receiving reports of a crash involving the Camry near Southwest Farmington Road and Southwest 141st Avenue in Beaverton. Investigators said the driver struck another vehicle head-on, pushing it into a third car. People in both vehicles suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene.
The driver fled on foot following the crash. Law enforcement secured the area, and a second drone was deployed to assist in the search. The suspect was located moving through nearby residential yards, and officers were guided to his location, where he was taken into custody without further incident.
Authorities identified the driver as 32-year-old Jesus Cisneros-Vite of Beaverton. He was booked into the Washington County Jail on multiple charges, including attempting to elude in a vehicle, reckless driving, two counts of hit-and-run, criminal mischief, and an outstanding felony warrant from the Oregon Department of Corrections.
Anyone with additional information about the incident who has not yet spoken with deputies is urged to contact the Washington County Sheriff’s Office through non-emergency dispatch at 503-629-0111 and reference case number 50-26-4502.
