Yamhill County, OR. — A Dayton man was killed Thursday morning following a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 18 and Highway 154, according to the Oregon State Police.
Troopers responded to the crash at approximately 8:06 a.m. on Jan. 15. Preliminary investigation indicates a Honda Civic, operated by Abbygale Elizabeth Cain, 33, of Lafayette, was traveling northbound on Highway 154 and attempted to cross Highway 18 when it entered the path of an eastbound Audi A4 driven by Isaac Andres Cisneros, 32, of Dayton.
The initial collision caused both vehicles to enter the westbound lane of Highway 18, where the Audi struck a westbound Freightliner flatbed truck operated by Kevin Loren Holstrom, 48, of Portland.
Cisneros was pronounced deceased at the scene. Cain reportedly sustained minor injuries. Holstrom was not injured.
The crash impacted traffic for approximately five hours while investigators worked at the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
OSP was assisted by the Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office, Dayton Fire and Rescue, Lafayette Fire and Rescue, McMinnville Fire District, and the Oregon Department of Transportation.
