Multnomah County, OR. — The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office announced the successful conclusion of its 2025 Fill the Cruiser Toy Drive, serving 1,112 children from 280 families across East Multnomah County.
The annual toy drive brings together sheriff’s deputies, community partners, and local residents to help ensure children experience a joyful holiday season. Over several weeks, deputies and volunteers collected hundreds of new, unwrapped toys at city halls in Fairview, Wood Village, Maywood Park, and Troutdale, as well as at donation tables set up at local retail locations. The effort was coordinated by the MCSO Community Events Team in collaboration with contract cities.
Donated toys were distributed during a community giveaway event held Saturday, December 13, 2025. Families from throughout East Multnomah County were invited to attend, where parents selected gifts for their children in a welcoming and festive environment. Corrections deputies, law enforcement deputies, and volunteers wrapped the gifts on site.
“Our goal for the giveaway is to create a welcoming, festive environment where parents can shop with dignity, so their kids can look forward to a brighter holiday,” said Multnomah County Deputy Sheriff Jessie Volker. “We are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed.”
The Sheriff’s Office extended its thanks to participating cities, community partners, and residents whose donations and volunteer efforts made this year’s drive one of the most successful to date.
