Yamhill County: Deadline to Appeal Wildfire Hazard Designation

Yamhill County, OR. – Official Release: Has your property been assigned to the State’s “high hazard zone within the wildland-urban interface”?   If so, the Yamhill County Board of Commissioners would like to share this time-sensitive information about filing an appeal of that designation:

Per Oregon Department of Forestry, the designations are final, unless there is a successful appeal of a property’s designation.  The deadline for filing an appeal is March 7, 2025.  Questions about the designation and appeal process should be directed to the Oregon Department of Forestry, via the links provided.
