Oregon City Police issued a press release via their Facebook account on 1/9/2024. OCPD went to investigate a report near Oregon City High School and found a deceased subject inside a camp. Police are continuing to investigate. The official release is below.

On January 9th, 2024, at about 1:37 p.m. the Oregon City Police Department responded to a suspicious circumstance call near the Oregon City High School located at 19761 Beavercreek Rd. Upon arriving officers located a deceased subject inside a man-made camp. A deputy Clackamas County Medical Examiner responded to the scene to take custody of the deceased subject. The investigation is still ongoing.
