GRESHAM, Ore. — A 25-year-old Gresham man was arrested Aug. 21 following an investigation into allegations involving the sexual exploitation of children, according to the Gresham Police Department.
Cheley Luis Alberto Barrientos was booked into the Multnomah County Jail on five counts of luring a minor, two counts of Encouraging Child Sexual Abuse in the Second Degree and two counts of Sex Abuse in the Third Degree, along with several other related charges.
Gresham police said the investigation was conducted by the department’s detectives. Detective Mike Erickson is the lead investigator.
Authorities said investigators are concerned there may be additional victims and are asking anyone who may have been victimized or who has information about the case to come forward.

Barrientos’ arrest represents allegations only, and he is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
