CRESWELL, Ore. — A Creswell man has been arrested on multiple felony charges following a historical sex abuse investigation conducted by the Lane County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies and detectives responded to the 100 block of Almond Way in Creswell at approximately 2 p.m. on July 9 to investigate allegations involving historical sexual abuse.
Following the investigation, detectives identified the suspect as Jeffrey Scott Harris, 61, of Creswell. Harris was arrested and lodged at the Lane County Jail.
He has been charged with:
- 10 counts of Unlawful Sexual Penetration in the First Degree
- 7 counts of Sex Abuse in the First Degree
The Lane County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation remains active. No additional information has been released at this time.
As with all criminal cases, the charges are allegations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
