SALEM, Ore. — A 25-year-old man has been sentenced to more than two decades in prison following convictions in multiple cases involving sexual offenses against minors in Marion County.
On April 22, 2026, Marion County Circuit Court Judge Jennifer Gardiner sentenced Eric Tyreak Gordon to 264 months (22 years) in the Oregon Department of Corrections. Gordon will also be required to register as a sex offender.
Gordon pleaded guilty to a series of charges across three Marion County cases, including using a child in a display of sexually explicit conduct, two counts of second-degree sexual abuse, three counts of third-degree sodomy, two counts of unlawful delivery of a marijuana item, failure to report as a sex offender, and third-degree rape.
Authorities said Gordon was arrested and charged in April 2025. The convictions stem from incidents involving victims between the ages of 14 and 15, including two separate cases of child sexual abuse involving three minors.
In addition to the Marion County cases, Gordon also pleaded guilty to related charges in Multnomah County, including third-degree sodomy and third-degree rape. Officials said those sentences will run concurrently with the Marion County sentence.
“These charges reflect deeply troubling conduct,” Marion County District Attorney Paige Clarkson said in a statement. “I’m grateful for the work done by our community partners at Liberty House and the Salem Police Department. Our office remains committed to prosecuting crimes of this nature and safeguarding the children in our community.”
Prosecutors noted that the charge of using a child in a display of sexually explicit conduct is classified as a Measure 11 offense under Oregon law, carrying a mandatory minimum sentence of five years and 10 months.
The case was prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Kylie Kuhns. Officials also credited Liberty House and the Salem Police Department, including Detective Fultz of the Special Victims Unit, for their roles in the investigation.
Due to the involvement of minor victims and the nature of the crimes, authorities said no additional details will be released.
