Lane County, OR. — Residents across Lane County are being encouraged to share their experiences and priorities as part of a new community survey aimed at improving essential services.
Lane County Housing and Community Action (HACA) is collecting feedback on programs that support housing, shelter, education, employment, transportation, health, and other basic needs. The effort is part of a required assessment conducted every three years to identify service gaps and guide future program improvements.
Community Action Agencies like HACA are tasked with helping low income individuals and families move toward stability and self sufficiency. Officials say direct feedback from residents, particularly those who have used these services, is critical to shaping more effective programs.
The survey takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete and is available in both English and Spanish. Participants are asked to identify which services matter most to them and share their experiences accessing support.
County leaders emphasize that responses will help inform funding priorities, program design, and long term planning to better meet community needs.
The survey will remain open through May 16, 2026, and can be completed online at the county’s survey portal.
