Gresham, OR. — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect who pulled a gun on other customers after attempting to cut in line at a Taco Bell drive-thru on Halloween night.
According to witnesses, the incident began when the suspect angrily banged on the restaurant’s doors before returning to his truck, a gray Ford F-150 with a camper shell and Oregon Cultural Trust license plates. The man then tried to bypass the line of vehicles waiting at the drive-thru window.
When other customers told him to go to the back of the line, police say the suspect pulled out a handgun and pointed it at a car occupied by two adults and a young child.
The suspect was described as wearing a black jacket with a badge, possibly affiliated with a private security company.
Police caution that the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Anyone who recognizes him is asked to contact Officer Justin Dennard at Justin.Dennard@GreshamOregon.gov or call 911 if he is seen.
