Kennewick, WA. – Official Release: In the early morning hours of 01/27/25, Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of W Albany for suspicious circumstances. Dispatch was advised an unidentified male had thrown a brick into the window of a residence in the area. While arriving, Officers were then informed an additional caller in the area called into 911 reporting an unknown male was inside of their home.
They were unsure how he got in, but could hear him screaming and throwing things within the home. Officers located the suspect male inside of the residence. The suspect male was challenged and exited the residence where he was taken into custody without incident. Officers then entered the home, cleared it and retrieved the family who were sheltered in place.
The suspect male in this case was identified as 25- year- old Shiloh Atabey-Compare. Atabey-Compare was booked into the Benton County Jail on one count of Residential Burglary, two counts of attempted Residential Burglary, two counts of Malicious Mischief 2nd degree.
