Portland, OR. – Official Release: On Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 11.03 p.m., officers from the North Precinct responded to reports of a single vehicle crash at the intersection of North Willamette Boulevard and North Burr Avenue. Officers arrived to find the vehicle had crashed into a pole and the driver was seriously injured. Paramedics arrived and transported the driver to an area hospital, where they later died.
The Portland Police Bureau Major Crash Team has responded to the scene to investigate. During the investigation, North Willamette Boulevard will be closed from North Burr Avenue to North Alma Avenue.
