October 27, Rep. Tracy Cramer: Facebook Post
Thank you to Marion County Clerk Bill Burgess and his entire Elections team that showed me and my team, Rep Diehl and his team, and staff from Rep Andersen’s office through the journey an election ballot goes through earlier this week—answering our questions for about 2 hours!
Some fun facts about Marion County are that we have the most cities of any county in Oregon and our voter registration is split 27% Republicans and 27% Democrats, with the majority of the remaining voters choosing not to affiliate with any political party.
Election Day is coming up fast—November 7th—so make sure to get your ballot in soon!
Note that not everyone will have received a ballot because this is a special election. For example: where I live in Gervais, I didn’t receive a ballot because there were no local issues to vote on. My staffer, Jessica, who lives in the NE Salem portion of the district did receive a ballot because she lives in Marion County Fire District No.1 which has a levy up for a vote during this election. If you did not receive a ballot and believe you should have, call the Marion County Clerk’s Elections team at 503-588-5041 as soon as possible.
