I am a proud Palestinian American. I do not support Hamas. But I am sitting here waiting to watch an unimaginable civilian death toll in Gaza, and wondering why nobody saying #StandWithIsrael said #FreePalestine before the bloodshed started when formal recognition of the State of Palestine and normalizing relations decades ago could have prevented this and other wars. Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank live with what Israel experienced this week on a constant basis. In my Christian faith, practiced for 2,000 years by my ancestors in Jerusalem, we believe that the Jews are God’s chosen people and that the southwestern Levant was a divine gift to them. I can say that the Jews belong and are welcome there with their own sovereign state even as someone with living relatives violently driven from their homes in the Holy City in 1948, a testament to the power of that faith. Palestinians in Gaza have nowhere to go, so Benjamin Netanyahu’s call for evacuations is simply mockery. If you pray for Israel today, pray for Palestine just as fervently, and for peace most of all.

We pray for the salvation of all Palestine’s. But, God has made it very clear through His prophets that the West Bank is His, and although Hamas started it, God is taking back the West Bank. Then and only then can Palestinians and Jews live there together in friendship. Peace might be a stretch because Satan will not give up trying to wipe Israel off of the face of the earth, but he is trying to get rid of the whole human race, especially those that believe in God. The rest he plans to take them over with AI. So we are all fighting for our existence and freedom from demonic strongholds.
