October 3, 2023 – Rep. Ed Diehl: X.com Post

Dharma Mirza, the Tri-chair for the Oregon Health Authority’s Measure 110 Oversight and Accountability Council says, “110 has either lead to a decrease in rates of overdose or it has stabilized.”

Dharma further claims that opponents of measure 110 are actively discouraging people from accessing care “they don’t believe people are worthy of recovery”.

Ballot Measure 110, the Drug Addiction Treatment and Recovery Act, requires the formation of a grant program to fund Addiction Recovery Centers and an Oversight and Accountability Council to determine how the grant funds will be distributed. The council oversees the implementation of the centers.

Oregonians should know how the council sees this crisis and how the council members view opponents of the measure.
