Oregon U.S. Attorney Honors Law Enforcement Partners for 2025 Work

PORTLAND, Ore. — U.S. Attorney Scott E. Bradford presented awards to law enforcement officers and agency partners in recognition of their work supporting federal cases and protecting Oregon communities in 2025.

The Law Enforcement and Agency Partner (LEAP) Awards recognize law enforcement agencies and personnel who worked with the U.S. Attorney’s Office on investigations involving serious crimes, including human trafficking, crimes against children, financial crimes, drug distribution resulting in death and gang violence.

Bradford said the work of law enforcement partners is critical to bringing criminal charges, holding offenders accountable and protecting communities across Oregon.

“For those we honor today, this is a calling, not a profession or a job,” Bradford said. “They have devoted their lives and have sacrificed time with family and friends to protect our communities.”

He said the investigations recognized through the awards demonstrated the importance of cooperation between law enforcement agencies and federal prosecutors.

“The pursuit of justice is not confined to ordinary hours, and our work would be impossible without their steadfast commitment,” Bradford said. “The strength and success of our cases rests on the rigor and integrity of their investigations.”

Bradford expressed gratitude to the officers, agents and agencies recognized for their service, saying their work helps uphold the rule of law, protect communities and safeguard the rights of citizens.

The awards highlight the ongoing partnerships between federal prosecutors and Oregon law enforcement agencies in investigating and prosecuting complex and serious crimes.
