GRANTS PASS, Ore. — Grants Pass police are asking for the public’s help locating a man investigators want to question in connection with a serious assault reported Thursday evening.
Shortly before 8 p.m. on Aug. 13, Grants Pass 911 received an emergency call reporting a major assault on Southridge Way. A male victim was reported seriously injured and was transported to Three Rivers Community Hospital for treatment.
Patrol officers and Major Crimes detectives with the Grants Pass Police Department responded to both the reported assault scene and the hospital as they began their investigation.
Detectives are attempting to contact Michael Brinen Cutts, 40, for questioning as the investigation continues.
Police are asking anyone who may have information about Cutts’ whereabouts to contact the Grants Pass Police Department and request to speak with a detective.
Anyone providing information is asked to reference case number 2026-00027750.
The investigation remains ongoing, and no additional details about the circumstances of the assault have been released.
