EUGENE, Ore. — The Lane County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 52-year-old Eugene man following an investigation into the possession of child sex abuse material.
The investigation began July 29, 2026, when Lane County sheriff’s detectives began looking into allegations involving the possession of child sex abuse material, commonly referred to as CSAM. During the investigation, detectives identified the suspect as Jeremy Bo Adams, 52.
On Aug. 10, detectives served a search warrant near the 100 block of W. 17th Avenue in Eugene and contacted Adams. He was subsequently arrested and lodged in the Lane County Jail.
Adams was booked on the following charges:
- 10 counts of Encouraging Child Sex Abuse in the First Degree
- 10 counts of Encouraging Child Sex Abuse in the Second Degree
The sheriff’s office said the investigation remains ongoing and detectives believe there may be additional victims connected to other crimes allegedly committed by Adams.
The Lane County Sheriff’s Office thanked the Coburg Police Department, Lane County District Attorney’s Office and Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance with the investigation.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office also assisted by deploying its electronic detection K9, Trinity, which is trained to help locate potential digital evidence.
