Roseburg, OR. — Six candidates seeking to become Roseburg’s next city manager will visit the city Aug. 4 through Aug. 6 as part of the municipal government’s recruitment and interview process.
Residents will have an opportunity to meet the candidates during a public reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, at the Roseburg Public Safety Center, 700 SE Douglas Ave.
Each candidate is scheduled to deliver a 10-minute presentation discussing their professional background, leadership approach and interest in serving the Roseburg community. Candidates will also be available to speak with residents during the event.
In addition to the reception, the finalists will participate in formal interviews and tour the community on their respective interview dates.
The city did not identify the six candidates in its announcement. Updates will be posted on the City of Roseburg website and the city’s official social media accounts.
