PORTLAND, Ore. — A Portland woman has pleaded guilty to assaulting a federal officer during a confrontation outside a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in South Portland last year, federal prosecutors announced.
Oriana Korol, 39, entered a guilty plea on July 23, 2026, to a one-count information charging her with assault of a federal officer.
According to court documents, the incident occurred on Oct. 12, 2025, as federal officers were clearing the driveway of an ICE facility to allow employees to leave the property. At the same time, law enforcement officers were arresting another individual a short distance away from the facility.
Prosecutors said Korol interfered with the arrest and, after officers moved her away from the scene, she kicked a federal officer.
Korol faces a maximum penalty of one year in federal prison, a fine of up to $100,000, or both. She is scheduled to be sentenced on Aug. 24, 2026, before a U.S. magistrate judge.
U.S. Attorney Scott E. Bradford for the District of Oregon announced the guilty plea.
The case was investigated by the Federal Protective Service and is being prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Oregon.
