GRESHAM, Ore. — Gresham police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 72-year-old man who was last seen Saturday afternoon.
William Peel, 72, was last seen at approximately 2:30 p.m. near the intersection of Southeast Powell Boulevard and Southeast 182nd Avenue in Gresham.
Peel is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing approximately 190 pounds, with white hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue checkered shirt, dark sweatpants, glasses, and was carrying no known identifying information beyond his clothing description.
According to police, Peel is familiar with using public transportation and may have been attempting to travel to the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Authorities are urging anyone who sees Peel or has information about his whereabouts to call 911 immediately.
