ALOHA, Ore. — A man wanted in connection with multiple criminal investigations was arrested Thursday afternoon after leading Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies on a brief foot chase through an Aloha neighborhood.
According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, deputies received a report at approximately 1:45 p.m. on July 2 that a wanted suspect had been spotted near Southwest 202nd Terrace and Southwest Kim Place. The pursuit ended after Morris jumped a fence and attempted to hide in front of a residence on Southwest 203rd Court. Deputies took him into custody after locating him.
Morris was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries sustained from a police K9 bite and a Taser deployment during the arrest. After receiving medical care, he was booked into the Washington County Jail.
He was lodged on the following charges:
- Unlawful Use of a Motor Vehicle
- Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle
- Identity Theft
- Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card
- Warrant issued by the Oregon State Parole Board
