CRESWELL, Ore. — Two Creswell residents have been arrested on multiple felony charges following a month-long Lane County Sheriff’s Office investigation into allegations of sexual abuse involving a juvenile victim.
On June 25, deputies and detectives with the Lane County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at a residence in the 82900 block of Scott Lane in Creswell. The search warrant was the result of an investigation that began after allegations of sexual abuse involving a juvenile were reported.
Following the execution of the warrant, investigators arrested 28-year-old Aubry Siobhan Blaylock and 32-year-old Erik Michael Maynes, both of Creswell. The two were taken into custody and lodged at the Lane County Jail.
Blaylock was arrested in Lane County Sheriff’s Office Case No. 26-2521 and is facing five counts of first-degree sexual abuse, six counts of second-degree unlawful sexual penetration, four counts of second-degree sodomy, and one count of using a child in a display of sexual conduct.
Maynes was arrested in Case No. 26-2857 and is charged with one count of first-degree rape, one count of first-degree sexual abuse, two counts of second-degree rape, two counts of second-degree unlawful sexual penetration, one count of second-degree sodomy, and one count of using a child in a display of sexual conduct.
The Lane County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation remains active. Detectives are asking anyone with information related to either case to contact the Lane County Sheriff’s Office at 541-682-4150.
As with all criminal cases, the charges are allegations, and the defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
