Gresham, OR. — Krestina Aziz has filed to run for Gresham City Council Position 4, becoming a candidate in the November 3, 2026, general election. Filing documents submitted to the City of Gresham show Aziz is seeking the nonpartisan position as a non-incumbent.
Aziz is the owner of TIA Translation & Interpretation Agency and currently serves as vice chair of the Gresham Design Commission. Her filing states she previously worked as a project engineer representing Intel on civil, structural, and architectural projects involving semiconductor and mission-critical facilities, as a building designer, and as an inclusionary housing specialist for the City of Portland Housing Bureau.
Her educational background includes studies in architecture and Spanish at Portland State University, a study abroad program in urban design at the Institute of Advanced Architecture of Catalonia, a certificate in 3D concrete printing from Aims Community College, and graduation from Centennial High School.
In a candidate statement submitted with her filing, Aziz said she has lived in Gresham since 2002. She also described working as a court interpreter in addition to operating her translation and interpretation business.
According to the statement, Aziz has volunteered as a Sunday school teacher and with Gresham’s Ebetsu Sister City Association, Habitat for Humanity, the American Red Cross, and the Materials Transparency Collaborative. She said those experiences have shaped her interests in community resilience, emergency preparedness, and healthy building materials.
Candidate filing forms provide background information supplied by the candidate and are published as part of the city’s election process. The election for Gresham City Council Position 4 is scheduled for November 3, 2026.
