CLACKAMAS COUNTY, Ore. — A Colton man arrested during an Oregon State Police Internet Crimes Against Children operation has now been indicted on 19 charges in Clackamas County.
According to investigators, Levi F. Wallace, 44, of Colton, was indicted and arraigned Friday, May 8, 2026. Wallace is currently being held at the Clackamas County Jail on $500,000 bail.
The indictment includes the following charges:
- Four counts of attempted using a child in a display of sexually explicit conduct
- Nine counts of attempted luring a minor
- One count of online sexual corruption of a child in the second degree
- Two counts of attempted unlawful contact with a child
- One count of luring a minor
- One count of encouraging child sexual abuse in the second degree
- One count of failure to report as a sex offender
The investigation began March 31, 2026, when an Oregon State Police detective posing as a 16-year-old girl was contacted through an online application by Wallace, according to authorities. Investigators said Wallace engaged in a sexually explicit conversation with the undercover detective over the course of a week and allegedly sent sexually explicit photographs.
On April 16, 2026, Wallace was arrested at his home in Colton with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Task Force, Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, Portland Police Bureau, Molalla Police Department, and Milwaukie Police Department.
At the time of his arrest, Wallace was also wanted on four felony warrants connected to a similar 2024 operation. Those warrants included allegations of child luring, online sexual corruption of a minor, and encouraging child sexual abuse in the second degree.
Oregon State Police said additional charges in the current investigation include luring a minor, online sexual corruption of a minor in the second degree, and failing to register as a sex offender.
Authorities are asking anyone with additional information related to the investigation to contact Oregon State Police Northern Command Center dispatch at 800-442-0779 or by dialing *OSP (*677) from a mobile phone. Investigators asked callers to reference case number SP26-108600.
Oregon State Police also reminded parents to monitor their children’s online activity, use strict privacy settings, and limit access to applications and unrestricted internet use to help protect children from online predators.
