Baker City, OR. – U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley will hold nine in-person town halls across eastern Oregon from Friday, May 1 through Sunday, May 3, continuing his annual tradition of visiting all 36 Oregon counties.
Merkley said the meetings are designed to hear directly from residents in communities across the region and address local priorities. Since taking office in 2009, Merkley has held more than 630 town halls statewide.

Additional event details are expected to be shared with local media before each stop. The eastern Oregon swing is part of Merkley’s broader 2026 goal of holding at least one town hall in each Oregon county.
