CORVALLIS, Ore. (April 27, 2026) — A 55-year-old Corvallis resident was killed early Monday morning after being struck by a vehicle on Southeast 3rd Street, according to the Corvallis Police Department.
Officers responded to the crash at approximately 3:30 a.m. near the intersection of SE 3rd Street and SE Chapman Place. Authorities say the individual was hit by a northbound vehicle and died at the scene.
The roadway was closed for several hours as investigators processed the crash site. Officials indicated the area was expected to reopen within the hour following the initial investigation.
Police say the incident remains under active investigation, and no additional details have been released.
