DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ore. — A Roseburg man has been arrested following an investigation into more than $28,000 in alleged fraudulent charges made on a company credit card, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies launched the investigation after Weekly Bros Inc. reported suspicious activity involving a company-issued credit card. The company identified a former employee, 41-year-old Travis Wayne Goza of Roseburg, as the suspected individual responsible for the unauthorized purchases.
Investigators determined that over the course of approximately one year, Goza allegedly used the company credit card for personal expenses. Authorities say he submitted falsified receipts to make the purchases appear as legitimate business-related transactions.
During an interview with deputies, Goza admitted to making some of the fraudulent purchases, officials said.
On Thursday, April 2, 2026, Goza was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Douglas County Jail. He faces multiple charges, including felony and misdemeanor counts of fraudulent use of a credit card, first- and second-degree theft, and first-degree forgery.
The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with additional information is urged to contact the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office at 541-440-4471 and reference case number 26-0843.
