Clark County, WA. — Clark County is accepting applications to fill an open at-large position on the Clark County Arts Commission.
The opening is for a representative who lives in unincorporated Clark County. The appointment carries a two-year term and begins immediately.
The Arts Commission is composed of 11 volunteer members. Each participating city appoints one commissioner, while the county manager appoints three at-large members representing the arts, arts education, and business communities. The commission meets at 5 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month.
The commission advises and collaborates with the Clark County Council and local city councils, reports accomplishments to the community, and advocates for the arts at public hearings, budget hearings, and other public forums.
Applicants are asked to submit a letter of interest and résumé to Jake Goodwin in the County Manager’s Office, PO Box 5000, Vancouver, WA 98666-5000. Applications may also be emailed to jake.goodwin@clark.wa.gov.
The application deadline is 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13.
