Salem, OR. — The Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 4-year-old child believed to be at risk.
According to ODHS Child Welfare, Miamor Hernandez Brown, age 4, went missing on December 30, 2025, with her father, Jose Carmelo Hernandez Martinez, and his partner, Erika Alejandra Simich, all residents of Cornelius. Child Welfare officials say they are actively searching for the child to assess her safety.
ODHS believes the trio may be traveling in the Forest Grove, Hillsboro, Cornelius, or North Portland areas. They are reportedly living out of a white Jeep Patriot with Oregon license plate number 863GEF.

The case is being investigated by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office under case number 50-25-18325 and has also been entered into the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children database as case number 2073714.
ODHS officials said that when a child is missing, particularly under circumstances where safety cannot be confirmed, the agency may issue a public alert to assist in locating the child. In some cases, children may go missing more than once, which can result in multiple alerts.
Anyone who believes they have information regarding the location of Miamor Hernandez Brown, Jose Hernandez Martinez, or Erika Simich is urged to call 911 immediately or contact the Oregon Child Abuse Hotline at 1-855-503-SAFE (7233).
The hotline operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and allows members of the public to report suspected abuse or concerns involving children or vulnerable adults anywhere in Oregon.
