Lincoln County, OR. — The Lincoln County District Attorney’s Office will host a community town hall on Saturday, December 20, 2025, offering residents an opportunity to learn more about the local criminal justice system and engage directly with county leaders.
The town hall will be held at two locations: 10 a.m. at the Newport Recreation Center and 2 p.m. at the Lincoln City Community Center.
According to the District Attorney’s Office, discussion topics will include an overview of the criminal justice process, recent filing trends and statistics, the impact of staffing vacancies on public safety, and time for community questions and open discussion.

County Commissioners Claire Hall, Walter Chuck, and Casey Miller have been invited to attend as special guests and participate in the conversation.
The event is free and open to the public. Organizers say the town hall is intended to promote transparency, accountability, and community engagement.
“Your voice matters,” the District Attorney’s Office said in its announcement. “We look forward to seeing you there.”
