Lane County, OR. — Oregon State Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred Friday afternoon on Highway 58 near milepost 51.
Troopers responded around 2:14 p.m. on December 5 after an Audi Q5 traveling westbound left its lane for unknown reasons, crossed the eastbound side of the roadway, and crashed into a dirt embankment.
The driver, 37-year-old Jessica Nicole Ingoglia of Klamath Falls, was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two passengers — 37-year-old Clifford Gary Ingoglia and an 8-year-old female juvenile — also unrestrained, suffered critical injuries and were transported to area hospitals for emergency care.
Highway 58 was partially closed for approximately two hours while investigators processed the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
OSP was assisted by Oakridge Fire and EMS.
