Oregon — The Oregon Ducks are slotted at No. 5 in the latest College Football Playoff (CFP) rankings — the penultimate release before the postseason begins.
Oregon finished the regular season 11–1 after a 26–14 win over the Washington Huskies on November 29.
Because the Ducks don’t have a conference championship game to play, they emerge as the highest-ranked “idle” team, a favorable position entering playoffs.
If the final CFP bracket holds, Oregon is on track to host a first-round playoff game.
