Gresham, OR. — Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Sunday morning in the parking lot of a fueling station, according to the Gresham Police Department.
Officers responded shortly after 1:00 a.m. to reports of gunfire and a person down near the intersection of W. Powell Boulevard and Miller Avenue. When police arrived, they found one individual deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.
The East County Major Crimes Team — a regional investigative group that includes detectives from the Gresham Police Department, Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office, Oregon State Police, and the Port of Portland Police Department — has taken over the case. Authorities said no additional details are being released at this time as the investigation remains active.
