Battle Ground, WA. — Holiday preparations are well underway in Battle Ground, where local businesses and residents have supplied funding and labor to enhance the decorations for the City’s annual Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration.
City officials said the community response “overwhelmed” staff as partners stepped forward to brighten the Battle Ground Event Center with new seasonal displays. Clean Choice Professional Services owner Luke Rogers served as the primary sponsor, installing lighting on the building, nearby trees, and light poles. The display will remain in place from the Tree Lighting event through December.
Additional donors include Desiree Lorentz of John L. Scott Real Estate, State Farm agent LeAnn Dodge, Terry Hammack, Avilaco Drywall, Impact Automotive, and Dev’s Coffee Bar. Their contributions funded more lighting features and expanded décor around the event site.
“We are grateful for the commitment of these local partners who stepped forward to help make this year’s holiday celebrations brighter for everyone,” Recreation and Event Center Manager Joanna Martin said. “Their support helps create a warm, festive environment for the community to enjoy all season long.”
The Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration will be held Friday, December 5, 2025, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Event details are available at http://www.cityofbg.org/Annual-Events.
